Miscela Specialty beans, 500g
New
Full-bodied coffee with a long chocolate aftertaste and notes of roasted almond, toffee, honey and chocolate. The blend consists of the finest beans from Peru, India and Brazil.
Peru
The beans come from the Cajamarca region in northern Peru, which lies in a semi-dry, semi-cold, tropical highland with very fertile soil at high altitude in the Andes. These factors contribute to the potential for specialty coffee in the area. Smallholders farm 2–3 hectares, many work independently and some grow organically.
India
Kaapi Royale represents the highest quality of Indian washed Robusta, known for exceptional bean size, bold structure and a remarkably clean flavour profile. The beans are grown in the shaded highlands of Karnataka and Kerala and differ from commercial Robusta in their uniformity, density and refined cup quality.
Brazil
Yellow & Red Bourbon are specialty beans from the high mountains of Minas Gerais, with a smooth body and low acidity. Yellow Bourbon is a colour variant of Bourbon with yellow ripe cherries, the result of reduced anthocyanin production – the same pigment that gives standard Bourbon its red colour.
The roastery Caffè Di Ola was started in 2024 by Ola, who has worked with coffee for over 25 years. He has been a taste judge, competed in a number of coffee competitions around the world and is a certified barista according to SCA – Coffee Diploma.
